Tropical Twist: Green Mango & Avocado Salsa

Ingredients:

  • For the Salsa:

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

  • 1 cup diced green mango (fresh or slightly unripe)

  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional for heat)

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • For the Dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons James green mango essence

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)


















Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Salsa: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced avocado, green mango, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Gently toss to combine.

  2. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the James green mango essence, olive oil, honey (if using), lime juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well combined.

  3. Combine: Drizzle the dressing over the salsa mixture and gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.

  4. Chill: Let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  5. Serve: Serve the green mango and avocado salsa with tortilla chips, grilled fish, or as a refreshing topping for tacos.
